Description

Le PT-141 (bremelanotide) est étudié pour le désir et l'excitation sexuels. Contrairement aux composés qui agissent sur la circulation sanguine, il agit sur les récepteurs de la mélanocortine dans le cerveau. Domaines de recherche : libido et désir, voies de l'excitation chez l'homme comme chez la femme, et signalisation du récepteur de la mélanocortine 4.

Deux formats, une concentration : le flacon de 10 mg contient 10 mg dans 5 mL, environ 28 vaporisations, et le flacon de 20 mg contient 20 mg dans 10 mL, environ 57 vaporisations. Les deux délivrent 350 mcg par vaporisation. Arrive préreconstitué dans une solution saline stérile, en atomiseur doseur scellé : aucune reconstitution et aucune eau bactériostatique nécessaire.

Reconstitution

Les vaporisateurs nasaux sont livrés prémélangés et prêts à l'emploi. Aucune reconstitution n'est requise.
