“GLOW” is a product name, not a compound. No standards body defines it, no monograph governs it, and nothing stops two vendors from putting the same four letters on two different mixtures. What GLOW normally contains

In its common form, GLOW is a lyophilised blend of three peptides that sit in overlapping areas of the repair and tissue literature:

  • GHK-Cu — the copper tripeptide, studied around collagen and elastin, skin renewal and tissue remodelling. It is the reason the blend has the name it has.
  • BPC-157 — studied around inflammatory response and soft tissue repair, with a broad preclinical literature across muscle, tendon, ligament and gut models.
  • TB-500 — associated with tissue regeneration, cell migration and new blood vessel formation.

The logic of the blend is that the three cover related pathways rather than the same one. That is also why it is bought as a blend instead of three separate vials.

The number that actually matters

A blend is sold by its total mass. Vistara Labs’ GLOW Blend is a 70 mg vial — that is 70 mg of peptide across the three constituents, not 70 mg of each.

This is where price comparisons quietly go wrong. A cheaper “GLOW” at 50 mg total is not cheaper, and a listing that gives no total at all cannot be compared to anything. If a vendor will not state the milligram total on the product page, that is the first thing to ask for and the answer tells you a great deal.

Buying it in Canada

None of these three peptides is approved for human use in Canada. They are supplied as research materials for laboratory use, which leaves two routes.

  • All three peptides named. “Proprietary skin blend” is not a specification. You want GHK-Cu, BPC-157 and TB-500 stated plainly.
  • A stated milligram total. Without it there is no price comparison to make.
  • Some blue in the vial. GHK-Cu is a copper complex and copper peptides are blue, so a blend containing it should carry a blue tint rather than arriving bone white. It is a rough cue rather than an assay, but it is a cue you can see.
  • Verifiable domestic dispatch. Canadian tracking from a Canadian origin, not a Canadian storefront drop-shipping from overseas.
  • Research-use framing. GLOW attracts more cosmetic marketing than almost anything else in this category. A vendor making skin-care promises about unapproved compounds is telling you where their standards sit.
