Read the second row carefully: the blend vial is 10mg in total, made up of half CJC-1295 and half Ipamorelin, not 10mg of each. Tesamorelin sits in a vial of its own.
Why does DAC matter?
Two different research materials are sold under almost the same name. CJC-1295 with DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) carries an added molecule that binds it to albumin in the bloodstream, stretching its presence out to something measured in days. CJC-1295 without DAC, often listed as Mod GRF 1-29, has no albumin binding and is gone in about thirty minutes. How do the three peptides fit together?
Every peptide in the GH Axis points at the pituitary, but not through the same receptor.
- Tesamorelin is a stabilised GHRH analogue. It binds the GHRH receptor, and its N-terminal modification is what lets it outlast the native 44-amino-acid hormone.
- CJC-1295 (no DAC) is also a GHRH analogue, built on the first 29 amino acids of the natural hormone with four substitutions for stability.
- Ipamorelin is a five-amino-acid growth hormone secretagogue that works through the ghrelin receptor, GHS-R1a, prompting the pituitary to release its own growth hormone.
