Findings

• 20mg BPC-157 + TB-500 Nasal Spray, 1997 and 2012: in early laboratory research, BPC-157 given beforehand lowered the build-up of mast cells and inflammatory cells in the nasal lining following capsaicin exposure (European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology); a 2012 review describes thymosin beta-4, the basis of TB-500, binding actin and promoting cell migration (Expert Opinion on Biological Therapy).
• 10mg KPV Nasal Spray, 2012: in human bronchial epithelial cells, KPV inhibited NF-kB activation and the secretion of IL-8 and eotaxin, chemokines that draw immune cells into the airway (International Journal of Physiology, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology).

Sterile saline is used rather than bacteriostatic water because its preservative, benzyl alcohol, irritates the nasal lining. Why are BPC-157, TB-500 and KPV studied together?

Repair research tends to look at two linked processes: rebuilding tissue and calming the inflammatory signals around it. This stack gives one bottle to each.

• The repair pair. BPC-157 is studied in tendon, ligament and gut-lining models. In a 2024 pilot of 12 women with interstitial cystitis, 10 reported complete resolution of symptoms after a single procedure with BPC-157, with no adverse events reported. On the TB-500 side, the same 2012 review links thymosin beta-4 to fewer myofibroblasts in wounds, which its authors connect with less scarring.
• Inflammatory signalling. A 2010 review notes that KPV lacks the sequence needed to bind any known melanocortin receptor, yet keeps almost all the anti-inflammatory capacity of alpha-MSH with none of its pigment action. In 2008, in human intestinal and T cells, KPV entered through the PepT1 transporter and nanomolar concentrations reduced pro-inflammatory cytokine secretion.
